Group Childbirth Education Class (Up to 4 Expecting Couples)
Scheduled via Google Form
This group Childbirth Education Class is designed for expecting parents and their chosen support people—partner, dad, grandparent, best friend, or family member—to learn together, prepare together, and step into birth feeling informed, connected, and confident.
Limited to up to 4 expecting couples per session, this intimate group setting allows for open discussion, shared learning, and space to ask questions while still keeping the environment personal and supportive.
Whether this is your first baby or your next, this class meets you where you are—offering clear, supportive education without overwhelm, and helping both you and your support person understand how to work together through labor and birth.
We walk through what to expect in a way that feels real and practical, not intimidating or overly clinical. The goal is for everyone in the room to leave feeling more prepared, more aligned, and more confident in their role.
This class includes guidance on:
- Understanding labor progression and the stages of birth
- Exploring options for pain relief, interventions, and natural coping techniques
- We also discuss realistic expectations around epidurals—while they can be very helpful, they do not always provide complete pain relief, and understanding this ahead of time helps both parents and support persons stay grounded during labor
- The role of the support person: how to actively help, advocate, and provide emotional and physical support during labor
- Navigating visitor expectations and protecting the birthing space as a team
- Setting realistic expectations for labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
- Includes education for both vaginal and cesarean births so all support persons understand possible outcomes and recovery needs
- Creating a personalized Birth Plan Outline that reflects your values, preferences, and priorities
The included Birth Plan Outline helps you organize your wishes clearly so your care team can understand them easily, while still maintaining flexibility for the unexpected—because birth is both planned and unpredictable, and support matters most in how you move through it together.
Scheduling Information:
This class is scheduled through a Google Form, making it simple to choose a session time that works best for your group.
Because birth isn’t just about the person giving birth—it’s about the team beside them. And when everyone understands the process, you don’t just attend birth… you participate in it with confidence, calm, and connection.
