This 1-hour Breastfeeding Education Class is designed to help you feel prepared, supported, and confident before your baby arrives. Whether this is your first baby or you’re refreshing your knowledge, this class gives you clear, practical education so you can begin your feeding journey with more ease and less uncertainty.
This session is focused on what you can do before delivery to set yourself up for success, while also preparing you for the very real, very normal learning curve of breastfeeding.
In this class, you will learn:
- How breastfeeding actually works (supply, demand, and what to expect in the early days)
- What a “good latch” looks and feels like—and how to recognize signs of an ineffective latch early
- Early feeding cues so you can respond before your baby becomes overly fussy or frustrated
- What is normal in the first 24–72 hours postpartum, including cluster feeding and milk transition
- How to support milk supply in the early days without unnecessary stress or pressure
- Common challenges in the beginning and how to work through them calmly and confidently
- The role of your support person in breastfeeding success (yes, they matter more than you think)
- When to seek help and what kind of support is available if things don’t feel right
This class is designed to replace fear with understanding—so you’re not guessing, second-guessing, or feeling alone when you begin feeding your baby.
Because breastfeeding isn’t about perfection—it’s about preparation, support, and learning as you go. And when you walk in with knowledge, you give yourself a stronger, calmer start.
If you have your pump, bring it to this session!
